Hello to all, Thank you to everyone who attended the Greek marquee at carnival, it was great to see you. Thank to everyone who helped set up and pack up on the day and special thanks to the girls for the frappedes, they were a huge hit! This Sunday is Pride March and the GGG is placed to march alongside the GALS and with all of the other ethnic groups. If you are interested in marching with your group we have Greek boys (tsolia) x2 and girls (amalia) x2, yes authentic national costumes, to march in, and ask for volunteers to wear them on the day for the march.
We would also like a couple of flag bearers to escort the people wearing the national costumes and thought perhaps we could have a couple of Greek soccer players or your choice as to what you would like to wear as you proudly march with your fellow Greeks. Assembly is from midday and the march will commence at 2pm sharp. Please be at assembly (on the corner of Fitzroy Street and Lakeside Drive NO LATER than 1pm).

The sizes for the costumes are ‘one size fits all’ and you only need to wear the national costume for the march. The boys also have moustaches that are available if you want to go all the way....
